A grassroots organization fostering mutual aid and community support through free markets and resource sharing in Arcata. They coordinate direct assistance, free item distribution, and solidarity networks while building power through community organizing and creating spaces for gift economy and collective care.

We are a group of volunteers that recover and share free vegan food with the public to protest war, poverty, and the destruction of the environment. Meal distro is every Sunday at 4 at the Arcata Plaza.

Equity arcata is a partnership between the City of Arcata, Cal Poly Humboldt, local businesses and members of the community working to make Arcata a more inclusive and welcoming environment for People of Color.

A mixed group of housed, housing insecure, unhoused folks. Free art classes, access to art supplies, and opportunities for creative expression.
