SURJ Rhode Island

A chapter of Showing Up for Racial Justice fostering mutual aid and community solidarity through white anti-racist organizing across Rhode Island. They coordinate political education, direct action support, and solidarity networks while building power through racial justice education and accountable organizing in partnership with BIPOC-led organizations. Their initiatives include the SURJ RI Childcare Collective, which provides free childcare services for social justice organizations and initiatives led by people of color in Providence and surrounding areas.

George Wiley Center

A grassroots organization in Pawtucket working for social and economic justice across Rhode Island. Through mutual aid and direct action, they organize around utility justice, housing security, and food security, providing weekly rights clinics and community support for those facing utility shutoffs or eviction.

Rhode Island Coalition to End Homelessness

A statewide coalition working collaboratively with advocates, providers, and faith-based organizations to prevent and end homelessness. They provide direct support through their 24/7 Coordinated Entry help line, manage housing placement services, and successfully advocated for the country's first Homeless Bill of Rights.

Alliance of Rhode Island Southeast Asians for Education (ARISE)

A youth-led organization combining leadership development with community organizing to mobilize Southeast Asian and other Rhode Island youth of color. Through mutual aid and education justice initiatives, ARISE works to support student activists and create systemic change in Providence schools.

Alliance to Mobilize Our Resistance (AMOR)

A grassroots organization providing direct support and mutual aid to communities impacted by violence and state violence in Rhode Island. AMOR focuses on rapid response, community defense, and building solidarity networks to protect and support marginalized communities.

A community organization providing mutual aid and advocacy support across Rhode Island. Through direct assistance and solidarity networks, they work to build community power and support systems while advocating for social justice and systemic change.
