They coordinate political education, direct action support, and solidarity networks while building power through racial justice education and accountable organizing in partnership with BIPOC-led organizations.

Highlander serves as a catalyst for grassroots organizing and movement building in Appalachia and the South.

We are a member lead organization based in West Tennessee (Chickasaw land) looking to help organize to abolish police and prisons across the entire Mid-south area, and replace those systems with systems that actually benefit our communities.
