National & International Organizations

National Harm Reduction Coalition

A national advocacy and capacity-building organization that promotes the health and dignity of individuals and communities affected by drug use. They coordinate training, education, and advocacy programs to expand access to sterile syringes, naloxone (NARCAN), and other harm reduction services while working to change policies and attitudes that stigmatize people who use drugs.

International Network of People Who Use Drugs (INPUD)

A global peer-based organization that seeks to promote the health and defend the rights of people who use drugs. They advocate for evidence-based harm reduction services, drug policy reform, and the meaningful involvement of people who use drugs in decisions that affect their lives. INPUD works to challenge stigma and discrimination while building networks of solidarity and mutual aid among drug user communities worldwide.
